As this could to be a monumental year, with the possibility of the first breeding Ospreys in Poole for a very long time, and the chance of more relocated birds returning I thought we might as well start off a new thread.

I didn't see that Patily, thanks.....
Morning Karen not seen any corvids bombing her this morning which is a good thing.
She is still pottering about the nest picking up little bits and dropping them

Birdies LG DU update.
Interesting Mike, thanks. I was thinking she was a blondie
Unknown said:17.59, you can see it arrive (probably CJ7).
What an amazing find, ALISON !!! I had to get my footage out of the Recycle Bin (very lucky it was still there) and got 2 more snaps, which I tarted up to celebrate:
I had been noticing the cam bumps and thinking an osprey or other big bird must be there, but never glimpsed her entrance. Judging by the bumps, she might have left @ about 20:30. EDIT - That should say "Judging by a bump and a clunk, she left @ 20:35".
How good to know that she does come back later in the day.

This morning she bounced the cam @ 05:43 and dropped onto the nest 15 minutes later:
She's been up 'n down and out 'n back all morning, just pottering and surveying, and not a corvid in sight!
Some lovely wings!
Lovely open winged shots Scylla from your downloads, they could never be captured live (well not easily)
I will pinch a couple for posterity, I know you don't mind.
