I'm drooling..... love glass, love penguins..... .. ....

I'm laughing at myself! I thought that I had a penguin ( not glass) and I just went to look at it, only to discover that it is a puffin.... It just goes to show that my dusters haven't been very active lately :-)

Aha - I sense a bidding war for one glass penguin ...

Heather: Any chance your daughter would want to see a therapist for what sounds like depression/anxiety? Her MD sounds clueless....

ANNETTE - I've advised her to contact her GP and insist on an appointment. At the moment though, daughter is so disillusioned that she wants to change to another GP practice. Her practice seems to struggle to attract staff ( wonder why?!) and only has two docs. There may be a long waiting list for NHS counselling.... I have some contacts, will offer help if she needs/ wants it.

OG - hope that J had a good day at the school with no more malicious fire alarms x

Heather- I see that Annette has already suggested professional help. If it were our practice, which thankfully is excellent, a talk with a counsellor would have been suggested already. I do hope your daughter can get some help.

Been out to talk to the jeweller who is going to remake my wedding ring - I may get it back in a week. It was such a cold wind when I got out of the car, it almost took my breath away!

One of my pieces of glass, a pig!! About 6" long. Originally intended as a b'day present for a friend who loves all things piggy  I kept it instead when she unexpectedly cut me out of her life! I've got quite fond of it now!
