Kind regards, Ann
Absolutely wonderful news about 083's sighting in Spain. Thanks so much, Mary, it's made my day!
Hopefully he's had a successful onward journey, if indeed he has migrated to Africa
Another update on Blue 4K(13) m - near the Mauritanian/Senegal border
Interestingly, last year he was in his over-winter quarters by 19 September. I wonder why he is so late this year? Or what made him so early last year? The pink track
Birdie's DU Summaries 2018 https://www.imagicat.com/
No, Gardenbirder, it wasn't one I saved, but ROP had a link on GoogleEarth and I did whatever I had to do to get the data on my GE. Sadly they haven't done it this year. The green route was 4K's 2019 spring route which wasn't shown on GE all the way. It stopped in the Atlas Mountains, possibly when they changed from ROP to L&RWT? The link to the RW info does not work now - "Ooops!". I don't share the excitement of an exclamation mark.
Thank you Alan. This is a copy of Alan's link
This is the full migration route of 4K, posted on FB on 16 October
