The man who does the Wigan bird feeder that I posted a video of ages ago has just thanked me via a comment (very nice of him, I wonder how he found it?) - and I find that he has his own channel, one doesn't have to view via BirdWatchingHQ.

Hope Everyone here, posters and lurkers alike, have a lovely Christmas and a happy, healthy and bird-filled year.

Scylla, I'm fine, thanks--Mr GB had the cold but I have escaped so far. We've just been busy having work done on the house and with holiday entertaining. Had all of Mr GB's family over for an early Christmas lunch on the 8th, half of the family of friends yesterday, the other half will be here on Saturday the 28th and we have friends from abroad staying early next week, before the New Year. Luckily for me, Mr. GB does the cooking while I do the decorating and chatting with people, a lovely arrangement!

I'd forgotten that Roy Dennis had committed to weekly pod-casts. I'm still catching up with all of these - ospreys, white tailed eagles - here's the link to them all

Another vole or two, then the mice returned - but not many, and long waits in betweeen.

That was up to 20:12, these are a couple of mice from the next 6 hours, after a vole had very nervously popped in 'n out.

In the 6 hours up to 14:17 yesterday there was just one vole :o

During the next 5h02m (I'd had to close down to reinstall some software) the vole came back twice and there was a single mouse 3 times, only stayed a while on one occasion.

No activity seen in the next 6 hours up to 01:47.

In the 6 hours up to 07:49 = one mouse.
