1000 Islands Bald Eagles
Me having too much to do to spend more time researching, I can only say that this nest is quite a few miles off the left-hand side of Lake Michigan, in Wisconsin... I think.
They fledged FOUR EAGLETS last season
No live stream, no close-up shots, it seemed to be monitored from a distance by people who also had a lot of other things to do. Anyway, it's an interesting snippet re a rare event.
At the Blackwater National Refuge in Maryland there is a female Great Horned Owl brooding on the eagle nest, even though there doesn't seem to be an egg.
