I think there's been a CURLEW HATCH - 12:12 couldn't see anything, 13:13 saw a fluffy thing moving - please check:

A definite chick - but the lens is smudgy:
I had to screen-capture this from rollback because the URL changed while I was asleep - the cam seems to keep going 24/7 with a break between day and night, and that stymies me.
Therefore, I think the sound of my rumbly laptop is coming thru so (no, it's not my laptop cos it's on the download too, but when au naturel there's hardly any sound at all) I have to adjust it umpteen times to lower that and increase any vocals. There are a couple a tweets in here:
Scylla "I had to screen-capture this from rollback because the URL changed while I was asleep - the cam seems to keep going 24/7 with a break between day and night, and that stymies me." I think the Chichester Peregrine camera (also operated by Carnyx) is the same, it has a "day" stream from 08.00 to 20.00 and a "night" stream from 20.00 to 08.00. Thus there is a new URL twice a day. I think the theory is that it allows them to build up a library of 12 hour scroll-backs for people to look at. Ian
Curlew vocals, taken from a 15-minute period - I've only heard about "male trill", is that what's at the end of this?
A very wet evening - 18:00:

I can hear little bits of trill along the way. Lovely to see thanks
I downloaded a few hours of Sapsucker Woods, not having been there for such a long time - and who should appear but the Pileated Woodpecker!
