Thanks Korky for the Albatross links.
It made me think about a story of an Albatross in Scotland, we spoke about it on the forum many years ago.
Below is a link to the story - which is fascinating.
NO ROMANCE FOR LOVE SICK ALBATROSS
Some of us got quite attached to Albert

Unknown said:That's a lovely if sad story Mary. Well done you for still having/finding the link!! I've become quite attached to the albatross. They have an amazing lifestyle/lifespan. I also like webcams that sustain me through the winter when the ospreys aren't in the UK.
Yes Korky they are amazing birds to watch, there are so many webcams to watch wildlife on there isn't enough hours in the day. I like watching the Cornell cams at Ithica and Ontario during the winter, so many colourful birds on those cams. The Bermuda petrels is another one which is interesting too.
Another topic of conversation from the forum in the past, was the Snowy Owls on Shetland. I am getting quite nostalgic now aren't I LOL....
Before I go, can you imagine seeing this at your window those wings are incredible.....

I hope the link works.
After a supplemental feeding earlier in the week, the young albatross chick was fed multiple times by both parents, including a triple-dose from her father OGK!

The squirrel lives on! The two chicks are now about 6 weeks old

Lovely video of the Royal Northern Albatross family all together in Dunedin, NZ. No sign of the male having any problems with his leg now.
In Florida, bald eagle Harriet and M15's second clutch of the season chicks E15 and E16 continue to grow. They are 7 weeks old. And the squirrel lives on!
