HAPPY NEW WEEK and HAPPY FULL MOON!Sunday the 13th is the full Hunter's Moon. It occurs just a few days after reaching apogee, the farthest point in the moon's orbit from earth. So, this will be "smallest" full moon of the year 2019. However, because of the point and direction that it will rise, some sources said that it will appear large and orange!
Everyone have a wonderful week. My area had its first frost of the season last night!
OG: I saved a copy of your osprey puzzle photo, and I uploaded it to TinEye. TinEye is a reverse image search.
You put an image into their search box, and TinEye crawls across the Web, searching 38 billion pictures to find an image that looks enough like yours for the search engine to flag it for you.
Unfortunately, TinEye failed to find even one image that was a close enough match. I'm very sorry, but I tried.
OG: I also searched using the Google Reverse Image Search. Google returned lots of pictures of wooden ornaments (birds of prey and other wildlife), but no matches with your osprey. I'm sorry.
OG: You might want to try posting your photo on the Osprey Chat thread and asking those folks if they know the artist. You'd probably need to resize the picture smaller. I can do that for you, if you prefer. They've talked about various osprey-related art work recently, so I don't think they'd mind. Mike is very knowledgeable about such things. Osprey Chat thread is HERE.
