Link to August thread
Aila left on 13 August and Mallie on 20 August. Rannoch failed to follow the weekly departure pattern and we're were still enjoying her noisy company on 31 August. But not so many fish for her today and perhaps Louis is encouraging her to leave.
It's been a happy nest, mostly, this season, apart from the failure to hatch of egg 2. Let's hope Aila and Louis come back next year and we see both Mallie and Rannoch again in a couple of years.
EDIT. Louis was last seem on Thursday 5 September and Rannoch on Friday 6 September.
17..24, Rannoch arrives at the nest in anticipation of a fish, Louis duly obliges with a whole whopper. Ian
17.36, she flies off with it, I don't think she ate any of it on the nest.
Yet another fish. The blur on the left is Louis escaping as quick as he can. Maybe a flounder from LA?

She hasn't finished the flat fish but has turned her attention to the whopper she got earlier. Maybe the remains of the flounder will be left for tomorrow. Ian

Thanks! I was thinking of celebrating it with a special snap - can you confirm it was the half-fish? :) It would be lovely if it were the flapping flounder.
Here are the 4 fish that followed the flapping flounder (just made it before today's action starts!):
I did 'do' the Hooded Crow yesterday but haven't had time to edit it down from the 20 minutes it spent on the nest - I enjoyed watching it, maybe someone else will too, if anyone could possibly have that much time to pass ;)
IMAGICAT
Rannoch is here shouting :)
Choosing the flounder, so far, but not fully decided yet.
Good Morning SCYLLA
Rannoch is now determidly tucking in, quietly
