Link to August thread
Aila left on 13 August and Mallie on 20 August. Rannoch failed to follow the weekly departure pattern and we're were still enjoying her noisy company on 31 August. But not so many fish for her today and perhaps Louis is encouraging her to leave.
It's been a happy nest, mostly, this season, apart from the failure to hatch of egg 2. Let's hope Aila and Louis come back next year and we see both Mallie and Rannoch again in a couple of years.
EDIT. Louis was last seem on Thursday 5 September and Rannoch on Friday 6 September.

(c) WT Loch Arkaig
Checking WT, I see that Liz said "The loch looks to have risen further overnight after all the burns that have emptied into it. I still think Louis will find fishing difficult. He might have better luck at the coast though."
(I got her permission some time ago to quote her.)
I'm signing off for another while :)
