Link to August thread
Aila left on 13 August and Mallie on 20 August. Rannoch failed to follow the weekly departure pattern and we're were still enjoying her noisy company on 31 August. But not so many fish for her today and perhaps Louis is encouraging her to leave.
It's been a happy nest, mostly, this season, apart from the failure to hatch of egg 2. Let's hope Aila and Louis come back next year and we see both Mallie and Rannoch again in a couple of years.
EDIT. Louis was last seem on Thursday 5 September and Rannoch on Friday 6 September.

Talking of flyby, this was spotted by Sue Wallbanks of Friends of Loch Arkaig Ospreys Facebook page - put your specs on!
Having once got into trouble for naming people on YouTube (it turned out that the owner of the nom de plume was extremely touchy and irrational but it takes all sorts), I have not credited Sue but I have disclaimed the glory in the description panel.

I glimpsed it as a Blue Tit when I was looking for it, TRYING, but it turned out to be a Great Tit :o
A few chirpy-tweets at the end :)
