Link to August thread
Aila left on 13 August and Mallie on 20 August. Rannoch failed to follow the weekly departure pattern and we're were still enjoying her noisy company on 31 August. But not so many fish for her today and perhaps Louis is encouraging her to leave.
It's been a happy nest, mostly, this season, apart from the failure to hatch of egg 2. Let's hope Aila and Louis come back next year and we see both Mallie and Rannoch again in a couple of years.
EDIT. Louis was last seem on Thursday 5 September and Rannoch on Friday 6 September.
Mike B said:You are right MC...of course!....She left without the Flounder which is well camouflaged but with the other tail end.
The trouble was, the blur made her look as tho either she had a club foot or was carrying something, but I didn't think she was ;)
She just flew, not having finished the flounder, and I was typing so, yet again, I can't say if she took it with her and the nest is just mucky-lookin' ;)
IMAGICAT
Sue on WT chat says that Rannoch left fish on the nest after flying at about 11.18 (maybe 11.15 or 11.16). I must admit I can't see it, but that says more about my eyesight than Sue's observation. Ian
Hope that helps!

She suddenly flew off with it :-/
This will be interesting, he/she is grappling with a tailend. Ian
EDIT - hoodie flies off just as Rannoch returns.
