The season so far: Telyn (Blue 3J) arrived back 30 March and Monty on 1 April. Telyn laid 3 eggs 17, 20 and 23 April hatching 26, 27 and 29 May. The three chicks were ringed and named on 28 June as follows: #1 Blue KA1 (F) “Berthyn”, #2 Blue KA2 (M) “Peris” and #3 Blue KA3 (M) “Hesgyn”. Peris aged 52 days fledged first on 18 July followed by Berthyn aged 54 days on 20 July and finally Hesgyn aged 53 days fledged on 21 July.
August has now arrived and the migration window opens. Teyln and Monty have done a fantastic job raising these three beautiful young ospreys ensuring they have had the best start in life to undertake their first migration. So until such times they go their independent ways and head off south, enjoy!

I just had to delete my post because the snaps came out so tiny and most of them wouldn't enlarge when clicked on :-/ Here are bare bones.
The Magpies got cheeky too, one brought a bottle top(?) (great spot of the corvid nipping off with Berthyn's fish, ALISON!):
Another flew off with it:
Telyn bringing supper fish to whom?
Leaving:
I think that must have been the fish that got purloined:
Fingers crossed!

Birdies LG DU update.
Berthyn was making a terrible racket on the nest as I looked in and this increased as Monty landed with a large fish

Morning, All. I was afraid she would drop it. Is that Monty on his favourite perch?
Kind regards, Ann
13:17 Monty with a headless fish (he'd been 'looking after' it on the larch post prior to delivery), Hesgyn (KA3) flew in to claim it
He saw big sis coming so took off with his fish
Just in the nick of time as Berthyn (KA1) landed on the nest immediately

From scroll back, and with information from chat (13:42), Hesgyn was eating the fish on the stump but being bothered by Berthyn (left)
Hesgyn (right) seemed to slip losing his fish in the process
Berthyn flying off, Hesgyn falling into the ditch
He lay low for a matter of seconds before emerging and flying off (no harm done)
Telyn and Peris not seen so far today
Great captures everyone, especially your roll-backs, SANDRA - a skill I don't have :(

Monty was watching a Magpie pestering one of his children:
He lost patience and jetted after it, passing under the perch:
