The 2 chicks were ringed on 4 July and assessed as female. They were given ring numbers JJ0 and JJ2, and later named by popular vote as Mallie and Rannoch. Both weighed 1.49kg on ringing but will weigh a lot more now after a further month's-worth of protein-packed-piscine-parenting. The WT subsequently said they thought Mallie may be male. S/he fledged on 20 July and Rannoch on 27 July.

LOL Ann, sorry!! I've been in an'out several times, and don't want to 'assume' you or anyone else is out there!
I am wondering whether she is 'lonely'! She had been so used to Mallie charging in when a fish arrived, and sharing the nest when they were younger. Now she is on her own apart from a fish delivery. Sadly, it's something she will have to get used to until she breeds. Although she might tolerate others in her winter quarters!

Wot?! No competition?
That was all for nest activity, except for my fave flyers, of which lots and lots but they don't show up well in still snaps:
While I was working on her video, Rannoch came like a bat out of hell, shouted, waiting a short while, and shot off like the same bat:
