Hi all, Fairly quiet day. Morning activity then youngsters were on and off the nest at times during the afternoon and evening. Until EJ landed with a whopper of a fish in the late evening. Two juves were on the nest and what a tussle took place. Gary has a video link for it and I placed a series of pics on yesterdays update along with others who also posted the Battle of the Titans tussle.
Now we have an abandoned part eaten "whale" on the nest and nobody around to eat it.The wind still sounds fierce. Over to the night shift, happy viewing. See you all in the morning. No, I won't be able to catch up till a lot later in the day.

Me thinks the rain doth drip.............
''I wonder what it is like in Africa, when they are all there, and they get upset about something. ( Trying to imagine how many ospreys plus other bird species in the area). I think ' bird song' could have an entirely different meaning.'' Yep indeed Brenda
I hear rain also ....... but hopefully I'll get a dry walk to work here even if I don't coming home.

What an intriguing thought, Brenda. I expect we would need high definition earplugs - if they exist. Probably quite a racket. Three is bad enough - no, we have heard 5 on occasion, haven't we?
Thanks Cirrus. By the Way, Everyone, there are some very good indeed photo shots of ospreys on a thread called "A Tale of Two Osprey Families Pt.1" written by someone called "borderslass" - she has started this thread but will not be continuing with this however, as on another thread I read yesterday that she is sadly leaving the Site because of a particularly nasty bullying situation they have had on those pages recently (well, for quite a time by the sound of it). It is always such a shame when one Bad Egg can affect everyone in this way.
If you want to find the photos, go to 'Forums' then 'Community Pages' then 'The Tearooms' before looking for the thread I describe above.
Hi Daisy Ray - didn't mean to be rude, but this reply to Cirrus has been trying to post itself for about 12 minutes! The Site has gone very very s l o w .
EDIT: & while I was trying to post it, Odin came back to the nest briefly, with his usual cheerful 'Chirp' but as there was no one home, he flew off again!
