Hi all, Fairly quiet day. Morning activity then youngsters were on and off the nest at times during the afternoon and evening. Until EJ landed with a whopper of a fish in the late evening. Two juves were on the nest and what a tussle took place. Gary has a video link for it and I placed a series of pics on yesterdays update along with others who also posted the Battle of the Titans tussle.
Now we have an abandoned part eaten "whale" on the nest and nobody around to eat it.The wind still sounds fierce. Over to the night shift, happy viewing. See you all in the morning. No, I won't be able to catch up till a lot later in the day.

It is still going strong but the camera keeps catching it with it's mouth shut which doesn't happen very often !!
Caught up and notice not a lot been happening. It now seems to me that there is probably food in the morning and at night now and not much during the day. Thanks for all the updates and pics.
I finally got a pic with the beak open ... tried so many times!

Well done, DJoanS I find it very difficult at times to capture that and also flight. Videoed last night so was able to capture flight on pics that way, but they are so quick it is difficult.

I agree DJoan- also about the racket getting on one's nerves. It's made my head ring (and that's only one bird !)
A quiet day on the nest, then, while I've been out and about! Except of course for the great comments today - sounds like fun!
I wonder what it is like in Africa, when they are all there, and they get upset about something. ( Trying to imagine how many ospreys plus other bird species in the area). I think ' bird song' could have an entirely different meaning.
