The season so far: Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. Maya laid 4 eggs 2, 5, 8 and 11 April hatching 11, 11, 13 and 17 May. The four chicks were ringed on 21 June as follows: #1 Blue 054 (F), #2 Blue 055 (M), #3 Blue 056 (M) and #4 Blue 057 (F). Further details of their vital statistics can be found here.

Morning All
Maya on the nest with three juvies just now. Maya has a fish, or remains of this mornings, and dishing it out

Unseen threat but close to nest.
Maya mantling, screeching, flapping her wings and at one time ducking
Maya takes off perhaps to give chase. One juvie follows then the other.

Maya has returned with the fish and 33 joins her
On the nest just now - 055, 057 and 056 with a fish
And 056 has flown off with it
055 and 057 shout and wait

054 grabs the fish from 33
057 and 055? arrive while 054 protects her fish
054 now gets tucked in while the other wait

054 continues to enjoy her fish and with it being one of 33's super duper fishes there is plenty to go round.

Morning ALL
Last night around 21:30 when I was closing down I looked in on the nest. No juvies around but there was a large fish lying.
Just now, one of the juvies on the nest enjoying the remains of a fish.

The lovely Maya on the nest She keeps looking over her shoulder and calling Can shesee 33 wit fish?
Rain and quite windy just now.
Maya arrives
She flies off and a couple of the juvies land on the nest. 054 shouting
054 has now flown too - I wonder if 33 is around with a fish?
