Morning all:
Lynette: If you started a new thread, someone made off with it! :-) Still, not a problem. Just checked in and - amazing!! Four birds on the nest. EJ and three chicks. EJ is feeding them. All seem very well behaved. Guess it must be #1 and Titch busy eating?? Perhaps that's #2 hanging back. OMG It's another whale!!
Ah Heron - you're around. What happened - did they all surrender the fish to the night? Makes you realise why they might come to Scotland - there is so much food they can leave it on the nest. Not to worry. Its cool in the evening so the fish won't go off and EJ will know all about this delivery so she'll be back to see how the brood dealt with it.
Looks like EJ's Fish Bar will remain open all night!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
This is the moment the chick who lost the tussle left, and then the victor left.

Thanks for info.
Nice one OG. Like your sense of humour. BTW - I have decided to postpone responding to all the interesting, newsy, weekly chats for the days when we have no osps to follow so please forgive me if I ask about your recent trip to LG in a month or so. I am very busy with lots of family related travel stuff just now and thought I would fill the quiet early migration days in September with catching up on the weekly chat since there wont be much LG osprey news to follow. Look forward to 'chatting' with you then. ENS right now. Poor fish!

Just like human teenagers . Spend hours cooking an elaborate dinner and then find out that no one is hungry. They ate at a friends house before they came home :(
