The season so far: Telyn (Blue 3J) arrived back 30 March and Monty on 1 April. Telyn laid 3 eggs 17, 20 and 23 April hatching 26, 27 and 29 May. Telyn and Monty continue to work hard to raise their young and Monty is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

Monty brooding the chicks just now.
Telyn arrives back and grabs the left over fish at the side of the nest and has some fish.
She now feeds the chicks as Monty shelters

Telyn's feathers were waterlogged, Monty's still functional ;) He'd just arrived to help:
Only two up for the sneaky feed?
I feared for #3, who took 20 minutes to emerge:
No need! #3 eventually got a minimum of TWENTY-SIX successful bites !!! :-*
Could this have been a Brown Trout?
I (unusually) went to YT Chat to check on the brassy-coloured fish but couldn't find it, but I saw mention of SEWIN and I found that one - the family are well fed today!
Birdies LG DU update.
