The season so far: Mrs G arrived back 25 March and Aran on 1 April. Mrs G laid 3 eggs 13, 16 and 19 April hatching 19, 21 and 24 May. Mrs G and Aran continue to work hard to raise their young and Aran is once more proving to be an excellent provider bringing in plenty of fish to feed his family.

What a sad scenario, and like Mike says little one just cannot turn, looking back it appeared to topple over, so is not pinned down, just its body weight, stopping it from turning. Thought when both adults on nest ,and seeing their distress, I was willing one of them,to go give little one a push, wonder if they are trying to move bits and sticks to help it.

I can't believe this .... I wish someone would just get a ladder and go and help it!
Birdies LG DU update.
