The silence is deafening, not least because we haven't even had sound* for a week or two, let alone an osprey on the nest.
*This is to reduce demand on the bandwidth, along with turning off the Feeder cam stream. It seems that the reason for the reduced bandwidth cannot yet be fathomed.
But who knows what the month of May will bring? First-time returners are due and there are reports of ospreys flying up thru the country. Hang in here, everyone!

But it hasn't always been so live:
Then back:
IMAGICAT
I can't visualise what you mean, JANE, as I don't have an iPad. My Android phablet doesn't display like that. Do you mean that your bookmark reverts to a recording? YouTube works in a "strange" way, the system has to be restarted periodically.
Peter @ Carnyx gave us a link which should work all the time but I have had trouble with that reverting to recording, so I'm still getting the latest live link from the Carnyx Channel page and clicking on LIVE NOW. On a PC, the other so-called Live uploads underneath are old recordings of the live stream..
The cam's been going thru a very bad patch, with Carnyx screens, pixellations, stripes, buffers.
NIGHTCAM 21:17
What a mess :o
EDIT:
Later:
The picture of the nest is quite sharp and still but there's some movement at the periphery. I think it may be Len jiggling his web. It may also be raining a tad.

If EJ were here incubating we might have seen one of her lovely pencil-sketch portraits :-*
DAYCAM 05:13 (possibly ;) )
Is the dandelion looking a little worse for wear? Maybe we'll see clocks flying in a few weeks?
Good morning.
Scylla this is a screengrab of what I meant about the camera, it's via a PC bookmark and not the ipad. The live feed is showing as available on the right side. Most peculiar.
I have two screens showing me exactly the same, Jane. So, what is today's address for the Loch Garten camera. Do we know?
