Thanks to Everyone for all of the posts and captures. And congratulations to 33 and Maya and the Rutland Osprey Project, of course, (and not forgetting all current and previous staff and volunteers who have made the entire project possible!) on the project's 150th chick!
As for the camera--just a thought. Other projects ask for funds to buy better cameras. If this project chooses to spend their funds on other priorities, fair enough. I expect that we are all in favour of doing things which protect and encourage Ospreys in one way or another. After all, this project has a lot of nests to monitor and to repair ever year. But what is to stop the Osprey loving readers of and posters to this Forum from doing a bit of fund-raising and offering the proceeds to the project with the proviso that the funds go towards buying and erecting something with a clearer, focused picture? (I was the Waderscrape Hide a year or three ago and I still could not read the ring numbers on the screen there. The next year that screen was not working at all!) Buying and erecting a new camera could require many tens of thousands, and it should be pointed out that having a better camera would not work directly toward the goal of preserving and protecting Ospreys; it would mainly serve to make our viewing pleasure more pleasurable, although it might bring in a few more viewers who might eventually contribute funds directly to the project. Or should we be grateful there is any camera there at all and decide not to be bothered by the quality and send any donations directly to the project and let them be spent as the folk in charge choose to spend them? What do the rest of you think?

Good Morning KAREN......there is plenty of fish when Maya's ready......and she has just got up.....can't see what she's doing because of the sun on cam lens

Good morning all. Been on for ages and thought it was quiet! Suddenly realised the site had logged me out!!

Bobs starting to stir and Maya has gone to the fish Having a nibble herself....only onebabe had their head up but now so have the other 2 One was facing in the wrong direction but now all loking at Maya/fish
