Continued from April 2019
The season so far:
Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. They are currently incubating 4 eggs laid 2, 5, 8 and 11 April with the first expected to hatch around 9 May

KAREN reminded !!!
I am sure you know and combined both events, but to avoid any confusion - the hatching of the 3rd chick was the 150th (which of course I posted about) and now we have quads here, the first, as far as I am aware, to be seen on a public camera.
No I didn't combine, KAREN - I had forgotten the earlier reports and assumed that the badge announcement coincided deliberately with hatch #4.
So if you needed reminding that I'm fuzzy-headed, job done! ;-D
I only have a distant, small view of this nest, but did I just see some enthusiastic bonking going on? As if I need another task but it must be done... eventually ;)
IMAGICAT
33 with a huge fish !
It is still living. 33 has flown off with it and hopefully when he returns it is deheaded
33 returns with the fish and Maya begins another feed
#4 at the back - I wish it would turn round
#3 has itself in front of #1 and #2. #4 still to get up and in line
#4 had got up and in line but Maya couldn't reach to the back. Lots of views of the Four Bobs.
#1,#2 & #3 all got fish but I didn't see #4 get any.
Maya now clearing up.
Until the next feed!
33 comes in, takes the fish and flies off
Maya is doing some clearing up while the quads sleep
33 returns with the fish
The MB family
Maya starts to feed. 33 standing over the nestcup after having place some nesting stuff in it!
33 now flown and chicks eager for more fish
Maya stretches round to feed #4
And more for #4 - it has had a few pieces this time
#3 has got up and joins in - all four chicks are getting fish :-)
At last !!! Confirmation from Rutland
