Continued from April 2019
The season so far:
Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. They are currently incubating 4 eggs laid 2, 5, 8 and 11 April with the first expected to hatch around 9 May

Raining just now - big smudges appearing on the lens

33 has appeared but Maya sitting tight
We really don't need this rain with the fourth bob as regular feedings are a necessity to keep the older bobs satisfied and for #4 to get fish. Plus it will be damp! Fingers crossed it dries up soon.
Thanks Jane. I am sure Maya will have given it a little fish plus it only needs one or two tiny bits unlike the rest that need more. For what I saw this morning it had its head up and look strong so not newly hatched and I think, as hard as it was, that we were all right about seeing movement of chick #4 yesterday.
FISH
Maya now feeding the bobs
Edit: Fish still living - just saw its tail flap !!!!!!
09:33 still feeding and almost impossible to get a clear shot of the bobs. Best I can do :-(
09:35 Feed over and Maya gets back on the chicks.
Another feed just now. Unfortunately Maya has her back to us blocking the view
Once over, Maya moves round and cleans up.
Now back on the chicks.
