Continued from April 2019
The season so far:
Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. They are currently incubating 4 eggs laid 2, 5, 8 and 11 April with the first expected to hatch around 9 May

33 is annoying Maya just now - placing sticks on her back which Maya threw off and has risen from the bobs/eggs
33 looks to be standing quite near the cup ... I always worry for adorable as he is he can be a little clumsy at times!

33 has now flown and Maya enjoys a preen while giving the bobs and eggs some air
33 on the nest mantling - something bothering him.
A few minutes later, 33 takes off. There is a fish left on the nest but Maya doesn't feed but settles down on the chicks.
Certainly seems to be plenty to eat - well done 33

Maya feeding the chicks just now
According to Tiger's hatching guide, the third egg usually hatches from the 35th day.
And looking at Chloe's countup clocks, we are now on day 35
So ....... anytime from now :-)
33 just landed with a fish in talon ... unsure if a new one or bringing one back
33 was facing the chicks and started tearing at the fish. I actually wondered if he was going to feed but then Maya took the fish from him.
Maya now feeding the chicks
Maya has flown off for a comfort break and 33 lands and has some fish.
Maya quickly returns and takes the fish from 33 and has some herself and feeds the chicks
33 has now flown.
I often think that given a little time, 33 would feed the chicks but Maya is always quick to take the fish from him. But if there are 4 mouths to feed, it would be nice if 33 did.
Once Maya has eaten and fed the chicks, she snuggles down.
33 arrives, takes the fish piece and flies off with it.
I think #3 has hatched for when Maya got up just now there was the two chicks towards the front and I am sure I saw movement/another head at the back left,
Edit: Later watching a feed only saw 2 bobbleheads so perhaps not.
33 has just arrived with a large clump of hay
I actually dread seeing it for the nest is difficult enough for them walking around!
