Continued from April 2019
The season so far:
Maya arrived back 14 March and Blue 33(11) on 23 March. They are currently incubating 4 eggs laid 2, 5, 8 and 11 April with the first expected to hatch around 9 May

Birdies LG DU update.
Just saw a bird fly up the bay and past the nest - 33 wing flapping
33 has now settled back down on the eggs

He is still alert however remains on the eggs after giving them a check.
Didn't seem to be any threat and hopefully not. 33 remains settled
Maya arrives with a large clod of something
33 looks as if to say "what is that?"
Change over
Maya gives the eggs a good check over and then settles down to incubate
weather has turned foul here!

Lots of little birdies flying around the nest and a couple actually have sat on the side.
I guess it is Maya incubating as 33 seems to get really agitated when anything is flying around
Those little birds caught my eye - they were there a long time and they're back now.

I didn't think I'd find a fish because I had black screen for an hour or two, however - a very fine one turned up for lunch !!!
