Continued from April 2019
The season so far:
Telyn (Blue 3J) arrived back 30 March and Monty on 1 April. They are currently incubating 3 eggs laid 17, 20 and 23 April with the first expected to hatch around 24 May.

On checking the nest just now, the eggs are uncovered. Hopefully Telyn returns soon.

Checking back and pleased to see Telyn back on the eggs
A miserable rainy night, Telyn's used to this:

Morning All - still appears wet here as droplets showing on Telyn's back
As per PATILY's report, Monty's visit:
Later he brought in a silly stick, much to Telyn's alarm:
He left it on Telyn while he tried to deal with a bigger one at the back:
After he left, Telyn had to get up to try to deal with the leftover sticky-up bit:
She couldn't. She stretched and flapped her frustration and flew off:
No fly-off snap - there are a lot of little glitches in the stream, as least here there are :-/
I think they might be in for more rain

This looks better
A few snaps from today.
A tail-end of a flounder, I think - it only took Telyn 10 minutes to polish it off:
Telyn spent the whole of the day having a go at the twig but the twig is too 'green' and only bends:
Monty preened and chilled out there:
Telyn did get a decent fish towards evening:
She took it up to this perch:
I might have got this in the wrong order - or I might not ;-/
She had the longest preen :o These are mainly pauses in between contortions ;)
When finished she shouted at Monty and flew to take over:
And Monty flew off:
Who was that? No clue turned up.
Her tongue was hanging out for much of the night:
Monty took over until well into daycam:
He's still there, well over an hour so far.
