NO Starling!!! It was remiss of me not to give credit to you flagging up the two on the nest at 10.49. That was what caused me to scroll back.
Laddie has returned and settled to incubate.
but not for long
and a spot of preening, before settling back on the eggs
Lassie calls from nearby, I think

Thanks for the updates and NO, NO, please don't give up on screenshots Starling. You contribute a lot to this thread and your shots are appreciated.
Looking back, for what it is worth, I am pretty sure it was Laddie for she looked at the talons as if she was expecting a fish plus I don't think she would have bared the eggs so long to an intruder.
So good to see him around just wish he popped in more often!!
Lassie is standing up just now looking making me wonder if Laddie has a fish. In fact I hope so for I think she has gone 24hrs+ without a fish.
She is now back on the eggs.

12.51 Lassie returned and DEMANDED fish
Laddie gets and ear-ful and flies off - to fish??
Lassie settles and continues to call, so perhaps he is near by and not taken the hint so far!
