Hi everyone, got the date right today.
Its been a day of lots of activity , fish deliveries, flying practice and of course going on flyabouts.
As you can see from the pic below we now have "empty nest syndrome" as it looks like Titch has gone to roost elsewhere. Probably in his adventures yesterday he found a nice tree he could roost in for the night and has gone to do so. Nice thought.. Happy viewing to our nght shift. See you all in the morning.

EJ is eating - is this the same fish as before?

Yes it is a large one and no one wants any of it so she is eating it herself.
Odin may not have eaten much yesterday which is why he took the unwanted fish back for himself . He needs to build himself up for his migration . He is looking a bit thin from a season of fishing marathons
EDIT EJ ate that entire huge fish
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
I presume this is Titch being fed by EJ. Plenty of Squeaking
Its always Titch when there's squeaking!
Chick has stopped eating now.
Linda, do have a great day, today at Tatton . Your weather forecast looks much better today.
Good morning all and thanks again to the night shift. Looks rather misty at LG this morning. Having a quick look at all blogs before I go and do things and then go out at lunchtime.
Lindybrd good morning and thenks for the pics. Wow 7 fish yesterday and 2 already today, now wonder Odin was able to take one away for himself. When i first looked it was just EJ eating but as you say Lindybird Titch had some and you can tell that by the little noises of appreciation. Think it is just EJ now finishing up the fish. Hope the youngsters don't get lost in the mist.
Margobird
Thanks Brenda - we might not need our umbrellas after all. Have to go soon & get ready to go out. Have a good day of Watching.
Sorry good morning BrendaH and Barbara Jean.
margobird - there were at least 7 or 8 fish yesterday, maybe even more, but EJ caught a couple of them.
Good Morning Margo and Barbara.
EJ is finishing off the fish herself. It would be nice to know where the chicks are hiding.
