Yikes !!! I thought I must have missed it but it's all there waiting for attention :)))
Thank you, everyone, for the super captures and info :)
I can't believe they arrived together - but they did! ;-D
Three matings altogether, only the first successful, IMHO. They were on the nest nearly 13 minutes, this is cut down to 5 but no significant activity missing - you know how they like to stand and (males) mantle and (females) look a bit nonplussed ;)
UNCUT VERSION:
The first was the best ;)
He sat here for ages after his second nestcupping:

This was the fish:
Louis has moved that confounded log which was blocking our view! Not much but enough to see into the nest cup clearly.

Birdies LG DU update.
I've just been watching Louis finish the job, Mike! Well done Louis!
It started around 08.20
Louis returned at 10.05 with what could have been dead bracken, and moved some green soft material, and then had another go
He then stood on it!
before moving on to the longer stick lying along the rim. A handy perch!
and then flew off

10.46 Louis brought in another stick!
he moved the licheny stick in front of him, and stepped backwards on to Aila, making her get up
She flew off, and Louis is incubating.
11.28 Aila has returned with a chirrup. She is creeping towards the cup, getting closer to Louis. She drops a small piece of nest material on Louis which he ignores. Aila starts to move sticks around and Louis finally get up. Aila quickly gets under his tail and heads for the cup. Louis has flown!! Alia settles
Moving sticks
Licheny sticks are building to block the view of the cup again!
