Yikes !!! I thought I must have missed it but it's all there waiting for attention :)))
Thank you, everyone, for the super captures and info :)
I can't believe they arrived together - but they did! ;-D
Three matings altogether, only the first successful, IMHO. They were on the nest nearly 13 minutes, this is cut down to 5 but no significant activity missing - you know how they like to stand and (males) mantle and (females) look a bit nonplussed ;)
UNCUT VERSION:
The first was the best ;)
He sat here for ages after his second nestcupping:

IMAGICAT
The fish came back, somewhat depleted, and Aila has flown with it.
This was the first fish Aila got - it was nearly 1 o'clock !!! Small, whole, not possible to get a better view.
This was the latest:
Louis is incubating. Aila returned and was standing over him calling.
I have to admit I find it quite stressful at times watching this pair!!

Oh I do believe that Aila has just managed to fly off with a beautiful, whole, silver FISH !!!
I thought that things were vastly improving, with Aila so relaxed after the last of last night's scares and then being so relaxed with Louis this morning:
But then he goes and spoils it all with his fish withholding antics - he should eat what he needs on his fave tree and bring to Aila what he doesn't need >:( And that's telling you, Louis !!!
But what a lovely fish later :)))
I called it "silver" but it was black on the other side. This was the best view but not focused:
It's nearly nightcam and someone is incubating with their back to us, I expect it's Aila. Here's to further improvement tonight ;)
(It's been a difficult day here, concentration-wise and domestic-issues-wise, so I'm off shortly.)
