Yikes !!! I thought I must have missed it but it's all there waiting for attention :)))
Thank you, everyone, for the super captures and info :)
I can't believe they arrived together - but they did! ;-D
Three matings altogether, only the first successful, IMHO. They were on the nest nearly 13 minutes, this is cut down to 5 but no significant activity missing - you know how they like to stand and (males) mantle and (females) look a bit nonplussed ;)
UNCUT VERSION:
The first was the best ;)
He sat here for ages after his second nestcupping:

I've only just checked after battling with the failted downloader (relieved to find I'm not the only user with the problem) and re-establishing network connection for the umpteenth time today. Yes, TRYING, two separate problems, it's never-ending >:(
07-33 Aila spooked. Up and flew... rapid departure. Not sure whether I could hear short spell of sky dancing shortly after her departure07-39 Aila returned and re-settled on egg.07-50 Aila spooked again...up and flew, but was only gone less than a minute.I think it may have been in chase, but there was no initial normal defence mantling or squarking.
08-20 Louis arrives with big clump of moss08-25 Both suddenly spooked and flee the nest...no mantling or defence calling. We need Liz's wider view of what is going on.
