Yikes !!! I thought I must have missed it but it's all there waiting for attention :)))
Thank you, everyone, for the super captures and info :)
I can't believe they arrived together - but they did! ;-D
Three matings altogether, only the first successful, IMHO. They were on the nest nearly 13 minutes, this is cut down to 5 but no significant activity missing - you know how they like to stand and (males) mantle and (females) look a bit nonplussed ;)
UNCUT VERSION:
The first was the best ;)

IMAGICAT
Hello everyone, thanks for all the pictures and updates. I liked them all, please forgive me not liking individual snips,
busy weekend and in need of well earned sleep. So glad that Aila has laid first egg after keeping us all on tender
hooks...naughty minx
Aila & Louis's EGG#1 DAY:
Poor Aila has had a very disturbed night so far - as stated in the intro, it reminds me of how easily spooked she was in her first season, when she stayed off the nest for 2 nights following the owl intrusion (am I remembering right?). So I can't decide if there was an intruder (PM?! but wouldn't we have seen at least his nose?) or not...
Louis is early! Two tries. Live snaps, so blurry.
Good Morning, seems Aila had a very unsettling night. I think she is nervous after having suffered
pine martin visit last year. That wind also must muffle sound if she is alert to dangers. Good she
stayed on nest though and Louis has just brought her a nice breakfish.
I have just opened the cam and find an unattended egg!! I have asked on chat how long it has - probably five minutes from what they say.
She apparently left at 12.34 (now 12.51). "She took off high and to the right." - from chat
When I checked YouTube it wasn't at all apparent what spooked her, other than she looked to the left, with wide eyes and just flew
George Anderson has previously commented
11:58 AMGeorge Anderson: On the subject of eggs left exposed - the egg which would become Lachlan was once left alone in the nest overnight.
