  • Just picked up news of moorland fire here at Glaslyn, on FB, thankfully it has started to rain. Earlier today, it was travelling towards nest site. Worrying times in many parts of the country.
  • I think there was just a changeover, with Aran relieving MrsG:

But I can't swear to it, need a better view.

  • Mrs G in situ She looks very snug with a nice lining of soft material around her
  • A few shots from yesterday, just to show we care ;)

Aran looking gorgeous while MrsG refreshes herself on the perch:

Here she comes to take over, in time for PATILY's observation :)

She got wet - she's used to that ;)

I thought Aran brought a fish but no, he just gave MrsG another break:

FISH!  Only about half, tho (no better view available):

It didn't take her long to eat it, then she had a good long preen and looked interested in something:

Then there was more preening, than back to egg duty.

Aran brought a mucky-looking clump of straw:

Left and returned for another stint on the eggs, while MrsG went to the perch:

Later he brought a twig and pretended to help sort the clump, but really he wanted MrsG off the eggs, and he got his way ;)

MrsG did more preening while Aran incubated sleepily:

The swapped over - there was quite a lot of togetherness :)

I was hoping to keep going until MrsG got a really nice fish, but here we are with another half:

Something was going on, can't stop to investigate:

I'm giving up at the evening buffer:

  • Good morning SCYLLA and MIKE Been having trouble getting on to RSPB site

  • Hi Patily. Glad to see you made it!
  • My poor Glaslyn cam got left in a buffer for hours and hours on end :'(

Here was MrsG on the alternative perch, interested in someone up there ;)

It's looking absolutely vile weather now, very wet and very windy!
