Thanks Alison. So pleased to see that Monty has managed to catch anything as I think fishing will be difficult.

So a well deserved break and some fish for Telyn who really has done a sterling job protecting those eggs against the elements.

To cap the day off as the night camera starts to come on in comes Monty with a large Mullett.  He'd fed from it and Telyn has flown to the Birch perch to eat.

Thanks for sharing Mike. Amazing footage. Monty the fish machine came through!
Amazing that these birds risk the unknown/life and limb to protect their eggs, But there's clearly a tipping point (think EJ and last year when hunger forced her to abandon her eggs). Thank goodness that point wasn't reached at Dyfi.
