Rather a poor camera, isn't it
Good Morning Patily and Cirrus
The webcam is certainly a bit out of focus this morning, but I certainly wouldnt say it was a poor camera as we usually get very good captures from it, it sometimes is affected by the wind and movement but it settles back to a nice sharp image, as ahown below.... maybe it just needs to be re-focussed in the visitor centre.

Well I am sorry to disagree, I know the cam is affected by the wind, but if you are patient and wait until it goes sharp then take a capture it is very clear, we have to bear in mind the logistics of what and where the nest is, and I for one am appreciative of any cam regardless of quality, this cam especially when zoomed in can produce some very clear captures.
I think we need to get things into perspective before we go slagging of the quality of webcams.
Sorry if this sounds a little harsh, I think the waiting is getting to me.
This time he had to have a little sit-down before getting on with it ;)
Re the cam - I've noticed long periods of severe fuzziness, as if the focus needs adjusting; at other times there's been cloudy pixelly blurring (I know what I mean, lol) and I've been surprised this past few hours by the clarity :o You'll understand that I can't be more precise.
But the other day, MARY, when you got another Lassie portrait, I was amazed at the time as to how you'd managed. Amazed and delighted, I must say ;-*
