Well, I thought I'd start a new thread now both birds are back. I can't remember if we do a daily or a weekly thread for LotL?
LF15 (aka Lassie) arrived back on the nest at 5.50pm on Saturday 23rd March, after LM12 (aka Laddie) had been skydancing for an hour or so. He delivered a bit of fish but there was no nookie observed. This will no doubt happen once the bond is truly resealed and Sunday 24th March may be a busy day. As at 4.10am, she is still on the nest, asleep, in the droopy, head down position, like she's got a headache. Tired after her journey but no doubt happy to be home.
SWT have yet to confirm it's her but it's looking very likely.

A lovely day at Loch of the Lowes There's a new exhibition of information of the first 50 years - see pics of info re the ospreys. There's data missing for some of the years. My bet is that folk on this site could help fill in the gaps. The second two snaps are of Lassie on the nest and Laddie on his nearby perch, clutching a fish. Around 1pm, when the nest was mobbed by 2 buzzards. They're not great quality as I digiscoped them. Saw some lovely yellowhammers and a nuthatch and plenty of the usual suspects.

Oh wonderful. I was there on 20 March and Laddie took his fish to the same birch!! Lovely photos, thank you!! You have a better zoom than I! Thank you too for the copies of the posters. Excellent!

Good Morning All
Great report and photos from Lowes Korky. Your digiscope photos are excellent, I have never got the hang of doing that. Birdie is an ace at it, and has shown me, as soon as I hold the phone/camera I lose the photo
Lassie was sleeping when I first looked about 20 minutes ago, then she must have heard something and woke up, she is now back sleeping again and has had her head tucked in for quite a wee while now.
Back to sleep again - I guess Laddie will be doing something similar so no EMN for him this morning. :-)

SCYLLA - I heard it, but then of course Lassie was on her own when I looked, and I couldn't find it on play back, must have been a slam bang thank you Ma'am jobby
Morning Korky
I'd be poor if you could buy sleep :-) as I'd be buying it all the time.... lack of, is something that comes with age I am afraid.
