Some history of the BALGAVIES LOCH OSPREYS.
It is a SWT Nature Reserve near Forfar, Angus, Scotland. There is no webcam on the nest, and there is no Visitor Centre, only a small Hide with limited car parking spaces.

ANOTHER SNIPPET OF INFORMATION THAT CAME TO LIGHT LAST YEAR WAS.....
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Karen Landward was shown last night (Friday Night) as well I hope you managed to catch it.
There really is a LOT of Greylag geese on the Loch Karen, one day I counted more than 20 paddling around under the nest, plus the cormorants, and lots of other duck type birds.
It is strange that the Geese should occupy the nest this year as they haven't since 2010? I think it was, so lets hope they have learned their lesson and won't forget ferocious talons heading for them.
More fabulous photographs from Darren, thank you for sharing them with us D.
These are from the nest on private land in Angus
This is one beautiful Osprey, and unusual to see it on the ground....
What a beautiful couple!
This is the Male Marsh Harrier at Loch of Kinnordy, he says they are "not great" - (Aye right D.) Well considering the distance from the hide, they are fabulous.

Birdies LG DU update.
Last night Darren sent me a few more photos he took the other day at the Angus nest on private land.
These are a lovely pair, they look young but then we will never know. Looks like they have egg/s!
Also a fab photo of the LI Female. You can even see the spots in her eye...
All taken from a safe distance @ 1200mm then cropped in.
