What beautiful photos by Norman Davidson, and thank you Roberto for the additional information. How wonderful to know CR9 is breeding near Kinnordy, and has been seen so many times.

Thank You Roberto for that additional information from Ian Francis. Ian is very good at getting back to us with information.
I hope to bump into you again in July when you are in Scotland.
Also look forward to seeing any of your photos you wish to share, you have an uncanny knack of being in places where there are intruders .

This was the male intruder, who I think I seen on Friday afternoon flying over the loch.
Maybe it is one of their own unringed chicks - (I have always been a dreamer) LOL
DARREN was up at Aviemore Lochan on Friday morning along with some of the other photographers that goes to Balgavies, sadly there was only one dive, and he was'n't in the correct position to get any photos of it. He was also at LI too, and he has sent me some fab photos of the male and female there.
A Heron taken at Aviemore Lochan - I think these are fantastic photos, I don't know if the Heron managed to swallow the fish or not though.....
Taken from the cemetery I believe. LI Female
LI Male
Also a lovely wee video of Green DY

Birdies LG DU update.
Lovely photos from Darren. Thank you for posting.
DARREN just sent me another four cracking photos of GREEN DY. This is the results of a Mahoosive Lens plus 2 x Converter.
I have been up at Balgavies myself since Tuesday, only seen Green BF twice despite going to Hide every day, and one time was only a fleeting glimpse.
I will post my measly photos later, be warned they are pretty rubbish Ha Ha...
