I thought I'd start a new thread for Aberfoyle. Especially for Sandra (other dedicated Aberfoyle watchers are also available).

Here's the link to last year's thread.

Clarach and her beau both arrived on 15 April last year. Here's the countdown clock (from Pete Dee's site)

Thank You Sandra for keeping your eye on FB for updates, its good to see Clarach on the nest. Hopefully it won't be too long before the webcam is up and running. Everything crossed.

Wonderful that Clarach has a new partner and with luck we will soon have photos of his bringing fish. Many thanks to Everyone for all of the pics and posts. I've been too busy lately to check the Forum every day so am very grateful to all of you for the chance to catch up every now and then. When I logged on today I had over 350 notifications, some nearly a month old, so I expect I may never catch up fully now unless I simply delete some but then I'd never know what had happened! Now, on to the Dyfi thread and many more photos of a couple more of my favourite Ospreys...

Still no picture from Aberfoyle and no Facebook update from The Lodge. Let's hope all is going to plan for Clarach.

Osprey cam - Clarach 4th May

Clarach recorded yesterday displaying possible incubating behavious but we haven't got a clear image to confirm there is an egg at the moment. CL (male) not seen on the nest since 1st May. Clarach now mating with unringed male from Friday 3rd May. Could be the same male as 2018 but we don't know. See less"

Great, well spotted Mike. Slightly concerned if she may be about to lay White CL's eggs....let's hope whoever the new male is doesn't do a Henry. Or maybe it won't matter if she's still in her fertile period.
