32(11) seen this morning in Senegal
Unknown said:I thought we knew 3 . Well, goody. Would someone enumerate the four for me please. Thankyou
Maya, Blue 25, Blue S6 and Blue 28
Ah ! My Beloved 28 ..... I didn' t know. Thank you Karen
I have come across this wonderful video from RW, in 2011, when 33 'intruded' on the MB nest as a fledgling, and even took a fish off the male, Green 5R, from under the beaks of the nests juvies - Blue 22(11) m, Blue 32(11)m and Blue 52(11)m. He clearly liked the MB nest from an early age!

Birdies LG DU update.
An interesting blog on WOW, which due to popular demand was extended into a second week this year. It also confirms that including the MB pair, another six have been seen.
"We have had so many requests for school visits that this year we extended the WOW event into a second week, which also gave time for 33(11) to join Maya at Manton Bay and for another six ospreys to be sighted during the week as they were re-establishing their territories in the area."
Given that they know the other six were seen 're-establishing their territories', they must have been IDd.
I have heard of:
Maya & Blue 33(11) m; Blue 25(10) f; Blue S6(15) f; Blue 28(10) m; Green 5N(04) f and Blue 00(09) f
Thanks Sheila. The seven you have listed are the same ones I know to have returned. Hopefully we will soon get an update on 30's whereabouts for she set off around the 10th. I recall her, along with others, being held up in France one year because of bad weather.
Two more photos of returnees that we already know about. We rarely see Blue S6(15)f: she is quite a stunner! Presumably her mate hasn't yet returned if she is fishing for herself.
