Hi everyone, been a bit hit and miss yesterday. Very windy conditions and the youngest almost made it but not quite. I think 4 fish were delivered in total. The wind has died down now and there are two peaceful looking ospreys on the nest Eldest one is probably roosting nearbye. Happy viewing to the night shift, see you all in the morning.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Alan I believe 3rd chick has been practising this morning didn't manage to catch it myself but saw it hover from one side of the nest to the other a few minutes ago. Of course when it could do with a bit of wind to assist it there isn't any.
Margobird
Is that rain I can hear?
I think he looks dismal at being alone at home :(
Hi Alan - welcome back - do hope you had a good time.
Well, the free ranging camera doesn't have sound , does it. That's the only thing I don't enjoy about the other camera.
Youngest gets the fish to itself
Odin has come in with a fish and the youngest has taken it from him and is tucking in. He is calling to EJ and the rest but no sign yet. He's getting no response from #2 or the eldest but keeps calling. Meanwhile the yougest carries on eating.
Cirrus did I miss a fish delivery by Odin as I think it is him warning off an intruder while youngest eats.

thanks Cirrus that is one good capture and lucky Titch has it all to eat on its own.
He is warning off an intruder Margo but yes, he brought in a fish. Youngest took it off him and is tucking in very capably - as it did yesterday.
Just logged on and good to see Titch getting a meal to him/herself. Must be Titch as no other youngster there.
