Happy New Week and Happy Full Moon! I hope everyone who celebrates enjoys peaceful, joyful holidays!
Happy Birthday to Bonnie.
Hi from EE and OG to all our friends on the weekly chat. We send season's greetings from both of us to you all, as we continue to lurk and read with interest (even though OG still cannot log in to write for herself, whilst I can!).
Good to hear from you, EE - and OG. A very happy Christmas to you both, and I hope you both have a happy and healthy new Year, OG, really hope you can get back here soon. We all miss you.
Lindy: Your poem is perfect! Well done!
Oh, heck, Diane, certainly not perfect, but a bit of fun, yes :-) Still dark here and hoping it will stay dry as we're walking down to a pub for lunch with sis in law as the beginnings of our celebtions. Will have to put up more decorations before we go!
Well, I tried to edit the above but it won't remove my extra tree!! At least it's in a suitable appropriate place!
I wish all FRIENDS & LURKERS love, laughter, happiness & good health. Merry Christmas.
I have a few choc nibbles & the essential choc cream pie in fridge. “Stella’s” Ch-mas pudding ready for overnight brewing. Turkey rolls baked & somehow I found the energy to carve them. OH wanders by saying “You haven’t much to do tomorrow.” No, not really, only cook pudd, peel a trillion potatoes, prep other veg, oh yes, set the tables. Meanwhile I shall snooze through midnight mass LOL
Merry Christmas everyone
I'm sending everyone here my very best wishes for the festive season. Thank you all for your kindness and support, interesting posts and pics. For the New Year - I hope that we will all get used to this new format :-)
I too miss OG and am giving the RSPB a serious knuckle rap for not allowing her to post!
Here's to a happy Christmas (or whatever holiday you observe) and above all healthy 2019 to all the folks on here. Others have said it more eloquently (and some in verse!) and I can only second all the lovely expressions of friendship.
We arrived safe, if tired, in Prescott Valley after a surprisingly easy drive. Granddaughter's on-again partner unloaded the car; we exchanged hugs with all and then retreated to the hotel for a much needed night's sleep. Off to the kids again now.....
