I thought I'd start this thread so that, as I said to TIGER, we can feel free to embarrass ourselves asking each other how to do things, and generally experiment. Hopefully someone will, in the absence of dear MrsT, be able to delete this thread if necessary:
First of all, here is how to start a new THREAD - look at the top right of the page:
It works much the same as before, except it doesn't default to Upload but to URL.
This is where I inserted the image:

Well we seem to be back after a fashion, I for one am enjoying reading the posts that I have been notified of from 2014 (for forums that I know I have never looked at)!!
Apologies if this has already been addressed but how do I get to the last page of a forum? I am stuck at 10 months ago on the CBO forum?
Ian
Me too, IAN! I've written to Wendy Bartter about it because I thought she was around and could test it out to see if it was "just me".
I am in the midst of starting another thread here, because we can't post without replying to a previous post and I don't know where to post serious issues like the one we're now talking about.
We do need to know if it is intended to change certain things, we can't just hang on because it might suddenly be too late to get anything done about an issue that makes the forums unusable.
Same here, Ian. I posted a reply to one of the posts from 10 months ago hoping that would bring us back to the present day. There are 'oldest'/'newest' boxes that can be clicked.
Hi Sandra, I tried that (see my post on the CBO forum). Ian
Ian,
If you click on the small bird (which is your profile) in the top right hand side above "join and donate" a drop down menu appears, click on settings, There is a section there for a signature.

Have seen it, Ian. I've now lost all posts!
Hi Richard
I think others were asking about signatures, I am still trying to walk before I can run!
Despite liberal use of the "newest" button I still cannot really navigate from page one of a forum onwards.
Like Scylla, I don't believe numerous hits of the "view more" button is a satisfactory solution to that problem.
Ian, i was replying to Thomo, who is also called Ian. lol
i think the next few days will be fun while working out how to get round this new upgraded forum.
As you say Scylla, we have emoticons. Being an old fuddy duddy, I would prefer easy navigation!! Ian
