I thought I'd start this thread so that, as I said to TIGER, we can feel free to embarrass ourselves asking each other how to do things, and generally experiment. Hopefully someone will, in the absence of dear MrsT, be able to delete this thread if necessary:
First of all, here is how to start a new THREAD - look at the top right of the page:
It works much the same as before, except it doesn't default to Upload but to URL.
This is where I inserted the image:
The new style has been brought up-to-date with pale fonts - I suppose they save storage space ;)
I would like the Insert Image/Video/File to default to Upload.
I'm just going to do a little vid to see how that works.
Something's wrong with the layout, my latest post is below where I am now typing the next one.
EDIT - but it does come out in the right order.
ALSO! There is too much space taken up with 'banners' top and bottom, so we can't see very many posts.

I hope I’m not showing my ignorance, but I can’t see anywhere at the top of the right hand side of the page where to start a new thread. I must speak my mind as this new look forum website is terrible. I was dreading the upgrade, as upgrades are often far worse. And I hate this new look forum website.

As for the rather horrible (I must agree) appearance, I'm hoping we can get it tweaked, at the very least.
I have a feeling that there will be a number of other members of this forum, of who I know, I think will feel the same as me. It’s just not user friendly.
