Hi everyone, I've not been in much to the site today, on and off. It was thought that the youngest had fledged but this is in doubt and until it is confirmed by The Team we can assume that it hasn't yet.
There have certainly been some near takeoffs and helped by the wind, the youngest has jumped and "flown" across the nest but this is all. It has been the eldest getting bolder and the middle one taking on more flights. There's time yet.
Peaceful scene here with two young on the nest and the eldest probably on the cam post or way to the left at the edge,, don't really know where he is.
Happy viewing and we'll see what to day brings. Over to the night shift.

EJ just flew in calling; she's carrying a giant fish but there seems to be an intruder around 'coz the chicks are down on the nest. Hmm. Intruder leaves then returns as chicks get up and then flop down again. EJ calling and mantling. Now she's taking bites while keeping one eye out for intruder. Chicks feeling safe enough to waddle over and start eating. Not sure which chick is still sitting and just looking.
Looks like they're all getting something to eat. No pushing or shoving this morning. A couple don't seem too worried about eating much.
EJ feeding one. The other standing as if he is in the 'naughty corner'.
EDIT As soon as I hit post, the latter stared straight at the camera. "Wasn't me, didn't do it". LOL
That was certainly a monster fish EJ brought in. One of the youngsters fly off the nest a few minutes ago at a fair rate of naughts :-)

Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
I'm assuming (always dangerous) that that's #1 that is still eating.
The eldest is full and flew off. Titch is full and resting by the camera. #2 is still eating.
However, by the size of that fish and the amount that is uneaten that will be another fish that lasts all morning.

#2 has darker feathers and more white on the side and top of it's head than the other two
#2 is still eating . The eldest was full and flew off
Ah OK, I wasn't sure if one chick took off, which means it was probably #1. chick 2 still eating and now it looks like Titch is tootling back for seconds.
OK guys, well it's about time for me to pack it in. Have a good Sunday all. Wonder who will fledge today? :-))
Take care.
Titch is hungry again, already!
Barbara Jean: You're always so patient repeating the markings again and again. I think my brain doesn't accept any new info after 7 p.m.!
Night all.
