Hi everyone, I've not been in much to the site today, on and off. It was thought that the youngest had fledged but this is in doubt and until it is confirmed by The Team we can assume that it hasn't yet.
There have certainly been some near takeoffs and helped by the wind, the youngest has jumped and "flown" across the nest but this is all. It has been the eldest getting bolder and the middle one taking on more flights. There's time yet.
Peaceful scene here with two young on the nest and the eldest probably on the cam post or way to the left at the edge,, don't really know where he is.
Happy viewing and we'll see what to day brings. Over to the night shift.

Good night Annette.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Good night Annette
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
EJ is screeching and Mantling . Again the eldest "rushed" to the nest to help her defend it. He is on the camera post screeching.
Now the intruder left and the eldest came down to the nest to eat more
I have noticed something else about #2 that may help identify it . When you see it from a "side view" it's wing feathers do not have as much white edging as the other two .
Wind sounding quite strong. There was a brilliantly funny moment a few minutes ago, when EJ called and the wind calmed down for a moment. Not only great at the flying, fishing, incubating and brooding; she can command the weather as well. LOL

A quick hello this morning to you Lynette ( thanks so much for your steadfast diligence in starting a new DU. And to Heron (who planned to stand in for Lynette). Good capture of the nest this morning, Heron – very clear view of fish (did someone say and EJ fish? ) Barbara Jean and Annette from over The Pond. AQ from down under (trust Whattle is fine).
If it stays dry today the wind should help Youngest on its way – I’m still studying foreheads. Middle youngest certainly the easiest to spot. And youngest and middle youngster currently on the nest. I shall not like the centre changing over to the other cam – no sound with it and I do so like all the chirps and shrieks and it sounds like Odin has just arrrived – no , it’s EJ defending v an intruder.
Hi Cirrus. In a way I'm looking forward to the other cam because I've never seen it in action before. Although if the sound isn't there, I'll miss being able to turn up the volume so the Ospreys can shout over the rubish on T.V :-)
Brilliant picture, Cirrus! :-)
Good Morning All and thank you Paul, Annette, Barbara Jean and AQ for your overnight reports. Thanks to Lynette for starting the 'day' again.
Good to hear that all chicks have had breakfast.
EJ and two chicks on the nest
HI Paul and Cirrus. Site is still very slow, with error messages.
I am going out shortly, so good viewing to all on line today.
