Yesterday brought wind and rain but no fish, plus a blog from Chris at the VC revealing that we're all in the same boat - we do not know why GJ has become unforthcoming or what he does or where he goes.
Late evening, GJ popped in and out, "upsetting" EJ greatly:
Pandy favoured us with an insightful poem.
Last evening the cam started freezing, and after a down and an up it's been down since 00:32hr:

16.12 EJ has flown
EJ just flew. With half-closed eyes, the feather could look like a lovely fish :'(
Back before that post posted.
She's back. Only gone a minute
16.12 EJ had a comfort flight, and returned with a call

A large gaggle of geese, by the sound of it.
Have you got another cam on Scylla!
I have just re-read the VC's tweet on the previous page. Two things struck me. EJ was absent for a short while earlier, when I said I wondered whether she had been for a bathe - yes she had. And they said (two hours ago) "George was around the nest early this morning but we haven't seen him today.". So who was she looking at earlier, and calling to?
17.01 EJ is up with another call, primary feathers that appear to be all around her! She checks the eggs and settles again. It is still a lovely sunny day, but clouds rolling in at times, casting large shadows over the nest and landscape.
EJ is still looking over her shoulder, apparently towards treecam, but I guess it's empty.
EJ stood and called briefly. I read elsewhere from someone at LG last weekend, that EJ is calling even when he isn't in sight. It's so sad. I just wish that she would go and get herself a fish.
