HAPPY NEW WEEK!
I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
Next Friday is Friday the 13th! LOL
I don't have a picture for this week, but some might be interested in this very short video. Just the other day, a 5.3 earthquake occurred in Southern California near Annette. The quake startled the daylights out of a bald eagle who was on a high nest with three chicks. No birds were harmed!
Hope you're okay, Annette!
Home about half an hour ago - just popping in to say that I'm up to date with all your news and hope to post properly tomorrow.
Thought it would be today, Heather - been thinking of you on your journey. Have a good weekend!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
We're back and alright. A reasonable journey, both there and back, and the usual tears and laughter of a funeral, where you say goodbye to a loved family member but allow yourselves to make jokes afterwards, and chat to people who you only meet and weddings and funerals.
A slight disaster - will describe the Great Tea Flask Mystery to you tomorrow.....
Glad you're also safely home, Heather :-)
Clare – Sending strengthening thoughts to you & Limpy.
.
OG – MissJ says some amazing things at time. I hope when she reaches school, her teacher can take it LOL.
Annette – Twins will be 4 at beginning of June. I did not imagine at the start of this journey (at the ultrasound) how I would spend the next five years.
Welcome home Heather.
Hello Everyone. I’m not keeping up. Still cool, but strong smell of smoke when I picked up paper this morn. Apparently a garden facility has a smouldering fire in its mulch.
Welcome Home Lindybird and Heather.
OG: Sounds like things are back to normal at your house.
AQ: I don't think any of us imagined our life journeys at such early stages (and a good thing too probably). :-)
Good Morning, All. Drizzly and damp, here, but as the weather is supposed to be improving we are making an effort today to get ourselves off to Wales for the 1st time this year.
No time for replies to posts, nor to tell my Tea Flask Story, but more of that later. I can recommend a visit to the "EJ" thread on here, though, where CRinger has recently told two hilarious stories of helping at the LG Centre!!
The sky has turned grey and there is strange wet stuff. Maybe join Henny Penny, Cocky Locky et al and cry “The sky is falling!”
Wet start to the day - supposed to improve later - hope it brightens up for LINDA, OH and Bonnie! Looking forward to the Tea-flask story!
Congratulations on the wet-stuff, AQ, hope it stays cooler now.
Nothing much happening here. Lots of public meetings in connection with possible closure of the towns biggest employer - fish factory - but we aren't getting involved. Too many ifs and buts anyway at this stage. Also a public meeting about improving the High Street - if there were sufficient funds to do it! Politics!

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
