RSPB have advised the live stream is to go live this weekend so it shouldn’t be too long now until we get our first glimpse of the nest.

Hopefully we’ll see the beautiful EJ return soon to her nest and long may she reign.
But until then, a thread to record all our observations until the ospreys arrive and the DU starts.
I can hear the local crows shouting at something.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

My first thought was Bolero, though. Very appropriate for EJ and Odin.
@Clare, I have PM'd you.

I too foresee problems! However I think CT6 will return quite early to try and claim this nest as she will want a partner and to breed and EJ, if she returns, early too, to defend.

Putting the lovely blue sky on the record ;)

Lovely Scylla, I just hope we see many more of them!
Scylla - you do so much, it is hard to keep up with you:-) I know you have a laptop in for repair but in addition to LG, are you planning to record any other nests?
That would make an excellent backdrop for sky dancing. Ian
Afternoon all, Scylla you are some busy bee! A computer in for repair, keeping tabs on the other nests and still managing to keep us updated and sorted, what would we do without you. Lovely weather there at the moment, we just need someone to share it with!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

It came home yesterday - they only charged £25 for fitting new keyboard (provided by me) and reseating/pasting the CPU. The jury's out as to whether it's really mended.
I am currently recording 24/7 LG, LOTL, and MB. The problem is with the editing out of extracts - I have famously/infamously lost full use of the basic but perfect video editor I've been using for years, so everything's taking a-g-e-s.
I hope to be 'doing' Arkaig when it comes online, and really would love to do Glaslyn as well... but can't do them all. I don't do Dyfi because Emyr has forbidden me to upload videos.
With Manton Bay, I know that you, Karen, will devote a lot of time to it so I shall probably let it go :( Likewise LOTL has devotees here and on Facebook who cover it well, so that may be dropped too, when other nests get going.
It's that feeling of loyalty to all our birds and the organisations behind them.
The horrid buzzing noise has gone. I though just now when I logged on that the sound was off, until I heard the wind. Great news.
